WAGNER-PEYSER EMPLOYMENT SERVICES Offers a one-stop delivery system that provides access to an integrated array of labor exchange services for job seekers such as job search assistance, job referral and placement, re-employment services to unemployed insurance claimants, and business, such as recruitment services to employers with job openings.
JOBS FOR VETERANS STATE GRANTS Provides funds to exclusively serve veterans and other eligible persons, transitioning service members and their spouses and employers.
WORKFORCE INVESTMENT ACT DISLOCATED WORKER SERVICES includes outreach, job search and placement assistance, labor market information, development of individual employment plans and counseling and career planning.
Customers are linked to job opportunities in their communities, including both occupational and basic job skills training to improve marketability.
WORKFORCE INVESTMENT ACT ADULT SERVICES Covers programs and initiatives that provide adult workers with workforce preparation and skills development to connect employers with quality workers.
TRADE ADJUSTMENT SERVICES Provides eligible workers with classroom and on-the-job training apprenticeship reemployment services, and relocation and transportation allowances. Services are provided to those who lose their jobs or have had their hours of work and wages reduced as a result of increased imposts or to those that have been affected by shifts in production or the supply of services to foreign countries.
SENIOR COMMUNITY SERVICE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM SERVICES A community service and employment-based training program that assists workers age 55+ and have a family income of no more than 25% over the federal poverty level.
WORKFORCE INVESTMENT ACT YOUTH SERVICES Assists eligible low-income youth up to age 21, and prepare them to successfully transition into employment, post-secondary education and/or training with youth related workforce activities, providing leadership, policy direction, program administration, technical assistance and guidance.
NATIONAL EMERGENCY GRANTS Expands training and employment programs at the state and local levels by providing funding assistance in response to unexpected economic events that cause significant job losses.
